      Great Federal benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, Pension, 401k match, tuition assistance, teleworking, mass transit benefit). Great sense of worth and doing something greater than you. Public service.

      Cons

      Rigid salary structure. Some people don't work as hard. Limited upward mobility.

      - Government Agency = not exactly a resume builder since it will take a long time to get relevant experience. Come here to end your career, not to start your career.
