If you love contracts, like me, you will love this position. There's plenty of room for training, but you also need to be motivated to learn and have some interest in the nature of the work. Federal employment, generally, is much better than private as there is a greater work/life balance, respect for workers (through unions or otherwise), and great pay with guaranteed raises/promotions (assuming you perform well).
