Federal Job with great benefits, job satisfaction, secure environment, opportunity to work into other positions.

Cons

Depending on where you work mostly non climate controlled areas and sometimes dirty. Lots of Nepotism in work assignments, positions offered, and advancement and ability to change jobs within the Federal community. They have a policy against Nepotism and unofficially everyone knows....but no-one can or will do anything about it.

Cons

Broken systems, policies, resistance to change. Management thinks everyone is complaining, and won't take advice. There are too many different reports, systems, and responsibilities that fall on one person, the contracting officer.
