Unfortunately the branches are not run by HR or even USESI, they each have their own corporate entities. During my time, they combined two entities and working for either was an unhealthy competition with the other. Competition as in, competing for resources, attention, or any sort of help. You saw one company thrive while the other starved for help.
Not a female friendly industry. I was harassed and cornered on a few occasions, as was my coworker. I even had said coworker expose herself to me on a work trip which was incredibly uncomfortable.
Work bullying is real, it is even rewarded. This is within the entities as, I believe, corporate USESI would not have allowed it to go on.
I feel like I was always paid well but I know of people on the branch level who were struggling. It’s not an achievement to work anywhere for 50 years. Employees should afford to retire (although I know a few that do it for the fun).
If I was just rating USESI, I would give it a 5 star review. I loved working here. Unfortunately, if you work in the branches, you work for the individual entities and they take the law into their own hands. I’d like to think the current president means well but he does enjoy watching drama unfold and will definitely light fires quietly.
It also is true that they tell employees to write 5-star reviews. I read through a couple. You can see where a 5-star directly answers a 1 or 2 star review. I’m sure one will pop up saying marketing is amazing within the next few days.
