Pros

30 min lunch break TSP / Other benefits

Cons

Terrible onboarding process with little training and no guidance. The training outlined in the official handbook was not followed or completely ignored by the agency. Outdated computer systems based on early HTML Scattered chain of command with constant pressure and micromanagement from peers. No freedom whatsoever and no privacy. Encouraged to skip both breaks and even lunch at times to give a good impression. Overtime is expected and the overall environment is not good for growth.

Pros

There is some training provided on credit and asset management. Job security, time off, retirement.

Cons

Office environments may include diehard government workers that fit the stereotype of clocking in and out. Minimal possibility of bonuses or raises as is standard in government.
