Pros

Great people to work with and they are passionate about what they do.

Cons

Very bad middle level leadership. If you are looking to go into public relations the service is not the place, unless you like creating press releases.

Pros

Wonderful mission, federal pay is ok but not great with this agency and benefits are the real reason most people stay. You will see some things others only see in zoo's or never see in their lifetime.

Cons

Workplaces don't have what they need to operate. Very little promotional potential. Pay is lower than what you will receive someplace else. And a culture of retaliation, nepotism and harassment thrive here. If you speak out about concerns they will come after you.
