Pros

Opportunities to contribute in a variety of ways to wildlife and habitat conservation; move around among jobs and around the country; highly collegial, collaborative environment internally and with other organizations; good pay, great benefits, humane work/life balance policies.

Cons

Overburdened with bureaucracy; too much process attached to every activity; very much at mercy of politics and prevailing administration aims and little to no "speaking truth to power."
