      1) Benefits, - FREE health care, no co pay no deductible, includes health vision and dental for you and your spouse and kids. 2) college tuition, 3) paid training 4) housing allowance 5) good competitive pay and promotions

      Cons

      1) time off is scheduled around deployments and training. 2) very harsh work environment usually from being yelled at by your superiors as if you were a little kid. 3) harsh physical requirements.

      Pros

      Sense of pride in service to the country. The opportunity to lead Marines - the finest fighting force on the face of the planet the world has ever seen.

      Cons

      The politics of officership. This will be the hardest job you will ever do. The Corps will always come first. It will come before your wife/husband, children, family, friends and it will come first at the most inconvenient time.

      Pros

      Via either a commission or enlisting in the Marine Corps you are garunteed certain benefits such as free health care, free dental care and free meals among other things.

      Cons

      You are forced to work long hours and working conditions are often less than desireable. Promotions are often based off how big of a brown nose you are and entirely on performence.
