Pros

Worked with some great people

Cons

Dishonest work practices (scanning mail in as delivered, before it's actually delivered in order to meet metrics), non-functioning tracking systems, no work-life balance

Pros

You are essentially under your own supervision once you leave the post office. Free to listen to music or podcasts while you work. You deliver packages, not bills, so people are generally happy to see you.

Cons

Can be hard work, carrying a few hundred packages a day in and out of the vehicle. Some fleet vehicles are VERY OLD (35 years) and not set up for modern safety.
