Pros

Tons of overtime Fast paced never bored Working alone for the majority of the day

Cons

Politics at the post office between management, fellow employees, and unions is brutal. No real management structure. Everyone is out to get everyone else. IF YOU ARE NOT A MAN IN YOUR TWENTYS WITH NO KIDS DO NOT WORK HERE. Worked weekends including sundays and all holidays with no benefits for 2 years. Worked 14hr days for 26 days before I was given a day off. Had multiple paychecks late or missing money and no one in management could explain (never got paid back for those). I have heard management is a lot better now, but not worth not being around family or holidays. And last thing is the trucks don't have good heat or any air conditioning, and there is no snow days for USPS. -45 degrees youre still working (even when an employee was pregnant) with no hazard pay.
