Pros

Government position with very good, inexpensive benefits. Time off/work life balance is very good. Job protection as a regular FT employee used to be great, but now is much more uncertain.

Cons

Overly bureaucratic environment, with many unmotivated employees who seem to simply be biding their time. Employees do not appear inspired or motivated to succeed, even in this current time.
