You get paid pretty well. If you have a tough vehicle that you don't mind tearing up like an F150, then you'll build up a decent chunk of change pretty quick.

Cons

Some people are great at the job, but if you don't take to it quickly it's very stressful and the work environment is very sterile and bureaucratic. The hours are insanely long, you're always on call, and you'll work 13 days straight pretty regularly. It's basically like being a truck driver.
