-when you finish the route, your day is done -no interview needed -A great physical job -great for people re-entering the workforce after a break -can elect to work at different offices -easy apply government job

Cons

(AFTER INITIAL 2-3 MONTH TRAINING PERIOD) -you'll work 10-11 hours for approx 8hrs of pay some days, will not receive commensurate pay unless you work over 40 hours/ week -must be able to carry up to 75 lb packages -on call 24/7 unless you put in an absence request -policy updates/rule changes communicated through infrequent, unscheduled meetings -heavier mail/package volume in November-early January means more frequent longer days
