Pros
The pay is pretty good and plenty of work to be done if you are willing to learn multiple routes. You are done when your route is done so, if you learn your route and you're accurate, you can have shorter days.
Cons
It takes a significant amount of time to become career. Post office expects you to be ready at all times during open hours in case you're needed so getting a second job could be difficult. Hours are short per week unless you want to learn many routes. The Post Office doesn't provide a vehicle so you have to either convert one to RHD or have a vehicle that you can sit in the middle and drive.
