Cons

Very limited schedule, only one day, sometimes not enough work to be called in for Sunday deliveries.

Pros

Opportunity to become regular and have benefits and paid time off. Also only do your route and go home. Sometimes you get evaluated over actual hours worked which can also be a con in the winter time. Meeting nice people and their pets along the way Not sitting inside or standing on your feet all some coworkers are cool people

Cons

Depending on the office, hours could be very minimal or you can work 6 days every week. Pay is not much more than anywhere else. No paid time off or sick leave which I guess they're changing that to 1 hours for every 4 hours worked No holiday pay Could work holidays Work on Sundays in offices that do Amazon packages On call. Could get in trouble for sleeping in and not answering phone on "days or day off" Have to use own car on some routes and EMA barely covers gas let alone repairs. You have to front the money for gas to do the route and then get paid for it after 2 weeks. If pay gets messed up, it takes a long time to get it back. Can't plan anything on "day off" because you could be called in. Taking longer during winter and only getting paid the evaluation. Doing the same job for less pay and benefits Having to know more routes, people, addresses. Say 7 routes about 3200+ names and addresses and not trying to make mistakes. Carrying multiple routes in one day. Could take years to become regular Having to drive in bad weather in bad vehicles not equipped for the weather Gas reimbursement for training took forever to get and was low for the amount of money I actually spent and that was when gas half the price it is now. Expected to know routes in evaluated time otherwise you won't always get paid for the actual hours worked No help acquiring a rhd vehicle

Pros

Good starting pay, potential to move up and earn great pay eventually as a regular. Work itself is enjoyable and rewarding.

Cons

They’re understaffed so new RCAs will be pressured to work 11-13 days in a row with one day off in between. High risk of burnout. You will work all the Amazon Sundays so you won’t have that day off. The LLVs are very old and the heat/cold can be grueling.
