Mandatory midnight shift, No federal benefits until hired as career employee which could take years. Leadership treat you like a number for real. They skirt around the fact that you are going to be working midnights for years to come during orientation. They would not answer these questions, and kept answering with ask your union rep. during his intro. The Union rep doesn't give any real answers neither. No organization once you are on the floor. Hard work in most cases. Schedule a little hard to understand with all the different tours and schedule meanings for different tours. Example I was told i was a tour 1 and went to look at schedule, i asked a long time employee what tour i was on and happily announced i was off on sun, and mon. She states that i'm actually off on sat, and sun because of my tour or shift. When I returned to work on monday i was told they'd expected me to be to work on sunday. Schedule said off on sunday, i expected if anything to have a problem with saturday. I was thoroughly confused.
