Pros

Pay is okay if you have no education or prior experience. PSE CLERK pat is 16.45 is of Jan 2017.

Cons

Even though you do just as much if not more money than regular, you still only get paid about half of their pay. Management does not know how to manage people or time. Takes anywhere from 4 to 6 years to become regular depending on office If they see you are a hard worker and they will abuse you and let the Slackers keep slacking. Management is really disrespectful in how they talk to you. Hard to get days off. Even if your patent does, they still want you to come to work and not go to the funeral. This has happened to several people I know.

Pros

Meeting the workers, about the only good thing about working there.

Cons

Management doesn't give a damn about you, they will work you to death, if you end up in Westbury,NY, please do yourself a favor and ask for a relocation. The post master and supervisors there are evil as all hell. Also if you get hurt on the job, do yourself a favor and get a lawyer and be on top of the Union.

Pros

Decent pay for part time work

Cons

work 6 days a week, in the very middle of the day. can't plan anything with family or spend a day running errands - day is impacted by the few hours you get in the very middle of the day. You get NO benefits except 1 hour annual leave per 20 hours worked but good luck taking it.
