Pros

in Anchorage working at the airport plant, the hours are good generally 40-60 hours a week depending, Any position in Alaska also Gets an additional 29.67% TAX FREE cola added on top but only for upto 40 hours after that its straight overtime but no cola, work is easy but no set schedule or weekends, if you need 3.5-4k a month its not a terrible place to work.

Cons

no set schedule from week to week, you are a noncareer employee with no benefits besides pay and healthcare. can be required to come in on days off, and you don't always know when you are getting off that day, expect at least 2 hours overtime everyday. you will work all holidays, yes even Christmas and Veterans day even if you are a Veteran. Expect little to no training, job is easy enough but learn to work and learn independent of your supervision and listen to other employees advice.
