. Being a government agency, it can take days, months or years to be hired once on the hiring list . . Centralized Human Resources Department based in Washington DC so contacting during normal work hours could be challenging if on the west coast. . Must sign up for vacation a year in advance . Most craft employees cannot take vacation time during Christmas Season

They work you hard! If you are a new employee you have to pick up all the slack of other employees! People call out and your expected to do their job! Lots of physical work. Senior employees work at their leisure or do the easy job like sorting letters! No choice in hours you work
