Pros
The were primarily my co-workers. Most were smart intelligent people that treated like dirt.
Cons
Getting anything done or approved was like pulling teeth. They are setup like the military, with checklists and layers of management. They don't care what the outcome is or what it cost, just so long as the "process" was followed to the tee. You cannot believe the time and dollars wasted by this organization. If they could simply figure out how to identify their best human resources, empower them and streamline their processes, they may be able to eventually dig out of the whole they've dug for themselves. However, don't hold your breath. The first 20 years showed some possibilities, but last ten were nothing but pure desperation.
