Pros

Pays very well, awesome benefits, and easy job! I loved the actual job.

Cons

They promote the people who can't or won't do a good job. They need the hard workers working the mail. Management treats everyone terribly because they know they could never do as good of a job as their subordinates do. I was absolutely miserable in that job and it had nothing to do with the work. It was constantly a hostile work environment, no one is appreciated, and everyone is treated poorly.

Pros

Really great people and benefits. However, they are very protective of their status and do not like newcomers. Once you have proven yourself, they are golden.

Cons

Horrible upper management. The structure of the organization works against the success of the business. Congress needs to get out of the picture and let USPS do their job - delivering the mail!!!
