Pros

Expect you to get mail delivered in a short time even when its a busy time of year, carrying a 35lb bag and also letters in hand and magazines (called flats) in the forearm at the same time while walking to next address in the snow you have to get mail ready for next address sometimes tripping on stuff under the snow you can't see. They say you have two breaks and a half an hour for lunch there is usually not time. Part time is not part time, you work at least 40 if not more. Expect to work over 40 hours and saturdays and holidays

Cons

99% of the regular drivers are helpful and very nice but they have their own routes to worry about and not much time to stop and help you. I loved the overtime although management thinks you shouldn't need overtime.

Pros

pay...That's it. Since having worked at the post office as a TE city carrier making $22.15hr though, The job title has changed, to "CCA" and the pay was changed as well to about $16hr or so. At times making that 22.15/hr wasn't even worth the misery.

Cons

management, extremely inconsistent work hours, weather, time off is almost non-existent, impossible to make career progression within USPS regardless of work ethic, dependability, and loyalty
