Pros

Fairly good pay for starting out, and the work is very easy for anyone who shows coordination and stamina for staying on their feet for hours at a time.

Cons

Can be laid off with little notice, most employees are relatives of managers and postal supervisors. If you aren't related to someone don't plan on keeping this job for very long.

Pros

Autonomy. Working outdoors, driving around town, learning more about the area than you would otherwise. The speed you work determines how many hours you work.

Cons

You have to work FAST or else the $18+ per hour becomes more like $12 per hour because you're out delivering much later than you are supposed to.
