Pros

Overall considering that the USPS is a large governmental organization the company is a good place to work. It offers good pay and benefits in addition to great service in all communities.

Cons

For upward mobility within the organization one must be mobile and willing to relocate. Aside from letter carriers and window clerks most other jobs require you to work evenings and nights.

Pros

Decent pay, overtime wage is 1.5 times extra. Expect to make around $12 an hour. If you like repetition in your work, you will like this job.

Cons

As a casual, no benefits are available. Expect to work 6 days a week and possibly longer. If management needs you to work, you will be working...

Pros

Flexibility on days off. Work is the same day after day if you like regularity. Vacation days are good.

Cons

Pay decrease. Sometimes you have no one to cover your route so you have to work 6 days a week and the USPS wont pay over 60 hours a week. There's a lot of employees on disability who should not be on disability and the USPS tolerates it.
