Pros

Pride in providing a needed service to our customers and our country. Pay and benefits were above average for our area and my level of education.

Cons

Far too many managers for number of hourly emplyees and too many managers really not knowing their jobs or regulations concerning the overall purpose of our job.

Pros

The salary and benefits are pretty good. The overtime is more frequent for newer employees. The work hours are daytime only.

Cons

Management does not recognize extra effort when decisions of route changes occur. The job can cause repetitive work injuries for knees, wrists, shoulders, feet and back.

Pros

You can get on a career path if you want, but you start at the bottom. Pay is good. Usually you can get time off by asking in advance. Have not had a bad experience with any fellow employee or supervisor. Very good at communicating what is expected.

Cons

You can be held for overtime at the last minute (this may not bother people who like the extra money).
