Incompetent management

Pros

Benefits, if you can endure incompetent management long enough to receive them. Pay is good if you can get a career position.

Cons

Managers have no skills or training. Many don't even have any higher education. Since it's very difficult to fire people in the USPS, I'm convinced the dumbest and laziest get promoted up to get rid of them. Terrible time pressure. Disrespect. Not given any time to provide customer service. If you're part time, be prepared to work 7 days a week sometimes and have your schedule changed often with extremely short notice

Pros

Great hours and great pay as well as many good friends made. Overall I would only really have positive things to say about USPS

Cons

I suppose the chances of advancing your career didnt seem to be easy. Maybe more advice on this would be good
