Pros

Pay is pretty decent lots of exercise as a TE, every day is different, which can be both a pro and a con

Cons

Part-Time Employee working 6 days a week, 10+ hours a day... only the government could get away with that nobody know where the USPS will be 6-12-18 months down the road... and the TE's will be the first to go No job security TE's are treated as inferiors by the careers and management

Pros

USPS offers a very competitive wage, security, health benefits, ability to transfer to different offices, FERS retirement with a match, pension, vacation and sick leave.

Cons

Extreme personality differences in manager's attitudes, in each of the post offices, and departments within the post offices. Repetitive strenuous working motions that can cause injuries over time.
