Pros

Job security, great benefits. Good retirement package. No layoffs, as long as you don't steal mails, the manager can't touch you.

Cons

too much work, must deal with all kinds of weather conditions like rain, wind, snow, etc. Sometimes you have to deal with angry customers not getting their welfare checks in the mail.

Pros

Dedicated with a purpose to serve the American public. Lifetime job security for current employees with seven years of service.

Cons

The postal service is changing and must downsize to compete in todays world of the internet. The government regulations and laws set by Congress prevent us from becoming a lean and efficient company.
