Pros

Sometimes you have decent hours and can get off work fairly early. Kinda a lazy job, driving around for a few hours. That doesn't mean its easy though.

Cons

Amazon, and junk mail is very annoying and can make your day VERY long. Gotta use your own vehicle.

Pros

Only pro is job security.

Cons

You WILL work way more than you are paid for, You will NOT have a life outside of work. The management are incompetent and they will cut every corner they can to make sure they get a good bonus, this includes NOT hiring substitutes so you can get a day off/or being so hard on a new employee they quit within a couple of days. Also, the Rural Letter Carrier Union has its pockets lined by USPS, they do not care about their members and will not do anything for their members.
