Pros

Coworkers are quick to rally for others in need. Wages are competitive for the area. Commute is ideal. In the past individuals were recognized for their effort. Employees are well informed and considered.

Cons

Management seems to have taken a turn. Priorities have changed and politics now seem to outweigh effort. Bruce appears to believe every lie he is told. Facts are facts and should not be viewed as positive or negative. I would rather deal with the few leaders ( Tonya,Ken, Terry, Annette, Stephanie ) that are willing to be honest and tell it how it is and help me to be a better employee instead of the ones blowing smoke. I miss the days of working toward a common goal.

Pros

None that are worth the cons.

Cons

Management is about as useful as a brick wall. They don't listen to their employees and let customers run them over. Any level of rediculous demands the customer makes management will make happen by adding it to the crib attendants list of duties, you'll quickly find yourself extremely over worked with contradictory instructions. They are very counterproductive and have no intent to try and permanently fix problems, instead they just add more complex layers of issues to keep people in the dark. You can try and bring issues up to management but they never do anything but say stupid saying like "it is what it is" if customers are rude and you report it then you get "coached" more like spoken down to like your worthless. The pay is not competitive where most companies have crib attendant levels to better indicate experience. At ustg you are just a crib attendant and get paid lower than most of their competitors. Example the standard cost of living wage increase is 2% each year. Instead of that they skipped a year then just gave 3.75% essentially holding back . 25% of the raises, perfect example of how they treat people. I would strongly advise anybody steer clear of us tool group and their poor management, terrible ethics, and downright horrible treatment of their employees.

Pros

Good company and good atmosphere. Family culture.

Cons

Dual capabilities in both manufacturing and distribution which lends itself to frequent layoffs.
