Pros

None that are worth the cons.

Cons

Management is about as useful as a brick wall. They don't listen to their employees and let customers run them over. Any level of rediculous demands the customer makes management will make happen by adding it to the crib attendants list of duties, you'll quickly find yourself extremely over worked with contradictory instructions. They are very counterproductive and have no intent to try and permanently fix problems, instead they just add more complex layers of issues to keep people in the dark. You can try and bring issues up to management but they never do anything but say stupid saying like "it is what it is" if customers are rude and you report it then you get "coached" more like spoken down to like your worthless. The pay is not competitive where most companies have crib attendant levels to better indicate experience. At ustg you are just a crib attendant and get paid lower than most of their competitors. Example the standard cost of living wage increase is 2% each year. Instead of that they skipped a year then just gave 3.75% essentially holding back . 25% of the raises, perfect example of how they treat people. I would strongly advise anybody steer clear of us tool group and their poor management, terrible ethics, and downright horrible treatment of their employees.

Unfair treatment of Employees

Pros

Decent hours, mostly. Most Holidays off.

Cons

Deception of employees by management. Tobacco Surcharge for hourly employees unless they provide a blood test to prove no nicotine use. Blamed on higher healthcare costs of tobacco users, meanwhile employees with obesity and other health related issues are not charged extra. Expensive healthcare with an intrusive "discount" program. Hard working employees are taken advantage of by supervisors while friends and family are allowed to be lazy and take credit for other's work. Lack of compensation for skills learned and extra jobs performed. Advancement opportunities never materialize until it is to the advantage of one supervisor or another, and then it is only so far as they need you to go. Excuses are made to deny raises for some employees while others are advanced based on the favor of their several immediate leads and supervisors. Too many supervisors. In some cases, a single employee may have 7 or more direct superiors to answer to for work flow and production. Poor communication from management to middle management and from middle management to hourly staff. Conflicting orders are common as are miscommunications leading to delays. Arbitrary decision making causes many problems with work flow and staffing. Lack of honest structure and organization. Lack of upward mobility. Many more issues. You don't really want to work here unless you can put up with being used and lied to.
