Pros

-Get the opportunity to travel, but be prepared not to be fairly compensated for your time on the road. -Comp Time - will receive up to 8 hours for working a weekend. Makes taking vacation easier throughout the year. -Staff in the lower levels - the people who make the ship run are great. I have lifelong friends who I met at this job. -If you like football, you get to meet and learn from some great coaches.

Cons

-Pay - seriously, if you are not a Director, you will not be paid a decent wage. -Frequent Purges - In the time I was there, upper management did 3 mass firings, usually between 10 - 30 people. -High Turnover - everyone is always looking to find a new job. Most people stay about two years. -Upper Management - they say one thing and do the other. Company "culture" has been manufactured and no on really believes in it. A great example of this is when they gave everyone in the office shirts that said "Family" on the front a week before firing a large group of people. They use the family or team buzzwords to make you feel like everyone is in it together. In reality, upper management is squeezing the company dry while you work your butt off every weekend. There is a Leadership Team (a group of about 5-6 people) who are in their own bubble and are constantly infighting over the funding for their departments. Even at the expense of getting other people in the lower parts of the company fired. -Work Rate - I will say this, yes, the travel opportunities are great... BUT you will not be compensated fairly for your time. At the most, you will earn 8 hours of comp time for working a weekend. We aren't talking about a 4 hour day, we are talking about a 12 hour day at minimum (24 hours of work minimum on Saturday + Sunday). This is something I really wish I knew before starting here. They also wipe your comp time down to zero hours at the end of each year. Be prepared to lose time that you have worked very hard for.
