Pros

Cafeterias and Gyms are nice, and the amenities

Cons

Poor Management skills in the member representative, these managers and directors are just there to get bonuses and could care less about you. They make you work and work, and god forbid take a bathroom break and it is, "call avoidance" You have to meet metrics each month, after 3-4 months of not meeting it you can be in trouble. make sure you meet that. Leaders that don't care about veterans from what I see. No advancement because other employees have more seniority than you

Pros

The people are amazing to work with and almost everyone truly believes in the mission.

Cons

The benefits continue to be cut away and it no longer feels like USAA offers above and beyond other employers. With inflation hurting everyone this feels like the make or break between whether USAA can retain top talent.

Pros

I was good at my job. I consistently showed every member that I cared deeply & they expressed feedback that I’m the only insurance agent that really takes the time to help. It was fulfilling to give people peace of mind. I enjoyed talking to people from all over, understand their story and what’s important to them, their needs, and provide solutions to protect them financially.

Cons

My numbers were high but I did not get promoted because I did not make friends with the right people. Thought I would get noticed by the quality of my work but politics plays a huge role on whether you get promoted at USAA.
