Pros

Great benefits PTO and Medical can't be beat! Love the Xmas bonus Love helping our military members and hearing their life experiences

Cons

Even if Employee or performs at higher level than expected raises are a joke Changing how they treat employees putting them last done listen to them like they used to Too much outsourcing which causes av lot of problems

Pros

-Amazing benefits -Most of the superiors/teachers I had along the way were nice and understanding -Was remote, but there is a current option for hybrid it seems like -All your PTO is given to you up front

Cons

-Working a call-center type job being an insurance professional, you will get rude people -Calls are back to back in what seems like little to no break time at all between calls, and taking unscheduled break every now and then seemed like a horrible thing to do -You are always expected to of course offer them a product they don't have even if the call has no openings for you to do so -BIG THING: The CEO got on a live presentation and to make a long story short, told all USAA employees to not expect any growth in a remote position. I was working remote along with many others.

Pros

PTO and that’s about it

Cons

There are so many cons. It’s ridiculous. Low pay, which is below the industry standard especially in claims terrible leader ship micromanagement cutting bonuses cutting retirement plus cutting benefits cutting pay especially during a pandemic. This company has gone downhill so incredibly fast it’s ridiculous and the reason being is the current leader ship especially the Board of Directors as all they care about is lining their own pockets all the directors all the leader ship only cares about making sure that they get their huge 30% bonuses while 90% of the workforce struggles living paycheck to paycheck and having a tough time paying their bills on time but no matter how many times we provide this feedback to leader ship nothing ever changes because they do not care. They literally told us when they were cutting benefits in 2020 that verbatim “we are over invested in employees.”
