Pros

One of my biggest blessing having worked at USAA are the people I got to work with. Every team I was a part of was filled with skilled dedicated individuals willing to help each other learn, grow, and thrive with USAA. Additionally the compensation, in my opinion, was excellent. Between my base pay, the medical benefits, and the bonuses, I felt valued and well taken care of.

Cons

Recent years has seems to have seen a shift in the culture of leadership, and within USAA in general. It seems as if the "mission" is slowly morphing away from taking care of the "member" above all else... to something... different. I don't want to harp to much on this, because the company was good to me while I was there, it's just rather sad to see how things changed in just a few short years.

Pros

Good benefits, yearly bonus, tuition reimbursement, good managers for the most part

Cons

Depending on what department you’re in there’s not much room for growth.
