      Just another claims job

      Pros

      Overall decent insurance company to work for. Do not have to work really hard to get ahead. If you have half a brain you can succeed here. Benefits are decent. Pay is about average with the industry. Most of the members are officers in the military so they are not low life's like what you deal with at other insurance companies.

      Cons

      Some co workers are incompetent, and so are some managers. Claims Adjusters are not licensed agents so they should not be required to sell insurance products to members. I did not feel comfortable trying to sell life insurance policies to members just in a car accident.

      Pros

      Great benefits, they care about work life balance, not publicly traded, it feels like a community there, and very mission orientated

      Cons

      IT is underpaid for their expertise and it feels like the business is the main focus and not it as tech focused

      Pros

      Work culture, Benefits(Annual bonus/Holiday bonus/available PTOs/insurance & all), Great work/life balance, Laid back environment(not for MSRs tho)

      Cons

      outdated technology which is understandable bcoz their highest priority is the "safety of their members & customers", you have go through a lot of teams(testing & potential risks) & approval from managements for a major upgrade. Career growth probably questionable!
