Pros

Members come first. Autonomy in work and strong capital position. There is meaningful work and the pace of work is right (work life balance is good relative to financial institutions).

Cons

Constant leadership changes, team moves and layoffs. Senior mgt. is put in place by the cliques they belong to and not on core financial or leadership skills. Newer people struggle to break into this and most don't last long.

Pros

Compensating and benefits are great.

Cons

Block opportunities even when you’re qualified. Unrealistic caseload with tight deadlines for complex/large loss claims. No work life balance. Managers bottleneck tasks making it hard to complete work. Claim loads are not spread out evenly. HR does not care. Your mental health does not matter here.
