The culture is by far the best thing about USAA. The work life balance is amazing and managers respect your time away from work. Taking time off is very easy.

Cons

The technology is slowly modernizing. Any company within banking or insurance has a lot of red tape so change is slow. A lot of the times change is frustratingly slow. The auto insurance industry as a whole is hurting after the pandemic inflated prices of cars so there is a much tighter budget it seems. Longer hours are expected and less regular promotions (once a year now).
