Great employee benefits. Work from home during COVID.

Cons

-Zero involvement by management -Unprofessionalism of the team -Client policies not getting delivered -Was asked to do something I felt unethical and would jeopardize my insurance license -14 days after my annual review when I requested a promotion, was told I had to wait another year. 14 days later, I was put on a performance action plan. Even though my review stated nothing about the performance issues. So don’t even think about asking for a promotion!

Pros

The CEO handled the pandemic really well and has been very cautious and communicative about what is best for employees going back to the office. Getting a steady pay check is always nice.

Cons

The only training that I received was videos. I asked for more resources, tried to ask questions, and was told that the videos would be enough. Managers and team leads were never available for questions or meetings. There is no such thing as a work life balance - the expectation that you are available at all times. The company culture is toxic.

I have been with USI for almost two years and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I have learned a lot during my short time here, and look forward to new challenges as the business continues to grow. Management is very supportive and I have as much flexibility as I need. I have received recognition for my accomplishments, and the organization as a whole has an appreciation for the technical expertise of my department.
