Pros
Benefits and work/life balance on par for being an insurance broker. There are some great staff who made working at USI Affinity tolerable.
Cons
Layoffs are a common budget-trimming strategy. Management lacks the continuity to train and keep staff. They do everything they can to save a dollar while wasting thousands. Growth through acquisition of new business is not a sustainable model. Each office location runs very differently from the next. Depending on your location, you will be often overlooked for raises/promotions (which rarely occur) or you'll be treated as if you can do no wrong.
