      It's a job. It's a job that has no rewards. It's a job where you will not go anywhere. You are stuck.

      Cons

      You're not valued. No raises of any kind period. They will block your attempt to interview with another department. It's sad if you're interviewing for another firm and they know that employees are under appreciated.

      Unlike most insurance sales positions, USI supports their risk specialists with a healthy annual wage with a smaller stake in the commissions.

      Cons

      You do not keep your book of business and there are currently no residual commissions.

      Pros

      Nice holiday schedule and give back to community day

      Cons

      After acquiring agencies, told no one would be losing their job. Started at 60 people and down to 45 with another 15 or more losing jobs soon. Probably closing doors within a year. Since acquiring our agency, everyone feels stressed regarding their job and if it will still be there. Most people have long tenure with the agency - 10-40 years. Sad
