Pros

Great atmosphere, Employee espirit de corps events, company outings, online self development, people with the same passion to serve the troops, metro allowance or free garage parking, holiday events, travel (if applicable to your position), fair performance review process, great vacation policy- 30 days a year.

Cons

Minimal advancement opportunities. Turnover in certain departments. Really I do not have too many cons based on my personal experiences. Everyone's experience is not the same.

Pros

Enjoyed the nuts & bolts of serving troops & family members, staff is surely dedicated to see to the troops needs and desires especially those deployed.

Cons

Fat paychecks for a non-profit charity to VP and above while nickel-and-dimeing the field centers. Cross sharing of best practices lacking. Little to no training on specific company procedures for day-to-day management.

Pros

you know you are making a difference! Cool opportunities, colleagues are great, and you get to meet great people! USO is good about compensation/recognition for overtime and hard work.

Cons

long hours, stressful, big work load.
