Cons

Management not aware of what job entails, no real opportunity for advancement or lateral movement. Working for clients outside of job descriptions.

Pros

Smart staff from around the world, forward thinking, UST values their employees & employee learning. Good or great health benefits (& employer pays a high percent). I had a great manager who knew how to keep me engaged, learning, & creating things. I started my tech/software/coding career in UST and would definitely recommend.

Cons

Some strange cultural clashes... in my experience, if you are from the USA, the org doesn't want to place you in technical projects/roles but would prefer you to move into non-tech roles like administration, sales, management... COVID layoffs did happen, but according to public datasets, the company already had their visa sponsorship budget cut to almost 0 after Trump took office.
