Business Outlook
Pros
Company encourages employee development and provides time for training. New Amdocs system is Java technology, so your skills will be marketable. The infrastructure is mostly IBM Linux and desktops are Windows 7, so the technology is current. The location is in the western burbs and easy to get to.
Cons
Lots of people who have been there 10+ years and a lot of people that have been there less then 4 years, with very little in between. Seems like you either have to click with the leadership or your on the slow track or worse out the door. Seems kind of random too, with some really skilled people there one day and gone the next, while some less skilled are there for years?
