People are generally pleasant, decent overall company benefits (pay, benefit time, 401k match)
Cons
Workload is completely unmanageable. While the company does ask for feedback, they do not act on it, and do nothing to add headcount. Our workload increased substantially during the pandemic, and yet ‘optimization’ - job cuts - continue to happen.
People tend to be genuinely helpful, and the work is interesting. Benefits are decent, tuition reimbursement policy is generous.
Cons
While company talks about work/life balance, most corporate roles require 50+ hours weekly to get work done. Company is inflexible with alternative working arrangements generally - butts in seats mentality. Risk-averse, old school leadership limits potential.
