Pros

It was the best job I have ever had for the most part. The leader was good but they were a little soft on bad behavior. It had to do with his outlook on life and this was what him a good leader. But sometime some people need a good talking to when they are very disrespectful to other associates. The company had the best culture I have ever seen or been a part of. THANKS FOR THE BEST YEAR OF MY LIFE TODATE. I can only hope to find a job with this company again.

Cons

As with most company Leader now days they put their pocket.

Pros

Commission was acceptable, vacation and time off was a plus. Co-workers and some leaders were the best part about going to work.

Cons

The new billing system that was put into place has turned the environment into an absolute disaster. Before the new billing system came out I didn't mind going to work but after the roll out I absolutely hated going to work and being a punching bag for U.S. Cellular and their lack of testing a complete billing system. It has led to loss in customers, commission and ultimately employees. Over the past year to year and a half they have been constantly downsizing departments and even eliminating entire departments all together, they are struggling big time to stay profitable and they don't care about their employees on the front line who make them money. Eliminating departments and positions and putting that work load onto the existing employees for the same amount of money wont cut if for very long. Many top executives have been dropping like fly's probably because they know what is about to come and want to make the move to better things before they go under.

Pros

Leadership truly cares about the associates. There are a lot of opportunities for recognition and appreciation. The associates really believe in the company and are prepared to work hard for success.

Cons

The competitive nature of the telecommunications industry has made US Cellular fighting to stay alive. There is a lot of uncertainty about the future of the company. There are layoffs and "right-sizing" happening in a lot of areas of the organization.
