Pros

Work schedule is 8 to 5 pm or 9 to 5 pm so overtime is rare. Benefits are good enough. The work/life balance is normally a good selling point for most people at UTD.

Cons

Like most jobs, the people you work with impact your satisfaction. You may not work with the best in the business, but they tend to be nice people.

Pros

Good insurance, plenty of sick time and vacation time. Friendly people overall.

Cons

The pay is low for the expectations and when compared to other places. Raises do not keep up with inflation. Bonuses do not normally happen.
