Pros

Poor pay. Little promotion if you’re a parent or woman for that matter. I have trained colleagues and hired colleagues with less experience and watched one get promoted just because they simply filled in for me while I was on maternity leave. At this point I’m there for the benefits. So basically the benefits are the only pro.

Pros

The benefits are absolutely amazing. Free insurance, sick days, you can move your time around.

Cons

Management is terrible. Too many chiefs and not enough indians. A lot of manipulation and office politics. Often management messes up and research coordinators and lower staff are blamed.
