Pros

None. This company is racist, ageist, and depending on AI to write educational materials

Cons

There are almost too many to list. Use of AI is demanded by the CEO (oh yes, the sainted Dr. Chandra himself) for writing educational materials for test prep and study guides; employees are expected to work 8 hour days with no breaks; blatant favoritism (everyone sees you, illustrators, walking in two or three hours late, then leaving maybe two hours later); ageism; micromanagement; directors who know absolutely NOTHING about the department they’re “leading”; VPs and above who also know zero about what the departments actually do, but demand metrics that are impossible to measure; did I say micromanagement? Excessive and extensive bullying is allowed and even encouraged; salaries are absolutely no where near market and they won’t pay anyone what they’re worth; training? what’s training? Sink or swim, you’re not worth training.

Pros

Nice coworkers Free snacks Interesting work

Cons

This is the worst company I've ever worked at. Extremely low pay compared to market. No processes. Unrealistic expectations from C-suite. Everyone is overworked and doing things outside of the scope of their role. No change management in Dev. No flexibility. For the pay and amount of skill they require, they should at least offer remote work. Extreme favoritism. People get randomly fired. Will often hire new grads or inexperienced candidates to fill gaps leading to widespread incompetence. Mgmt will gloat about how loyal employees do extra work for free during their annual event. But everyone is looking to leave. No one lasts more than 2 years unless they have some kind of personal disadvantage or quirkiness that makes them unattractive to other employers. Things are changed at a minute's notice based on the whims of owner. Practically no annual raise. I do not wish employment at this company even on my worst enemy.
