Pros

Working at Uber is working with a lot of smart people who share a vision that we can change employment, transportation, and where we live for the better. It's challenging in the good way.

Cons

The recruitment process can be rather slow, and in my opinion there is a rush to over corporatize/bureaucratize the structure of the company. There are efforts being made to streamline therein, but it can be confusing at first.

Pros

Uber is fast pace and allows for autonomy and ownership; especially for someone younger in their career.

Cons

The constant re-orgs and re-postioning cause a confusing work experience. Clearly transitioning from a startup mentality to a more structured and rigid work place, which slows pace and causes an incredible amount of repeated work. Pay is not reflective of work expectations for work.
